Did those travellers respect the inhabitants? I know nothing about this history.
It’s a lot of work writing all of the detail descriptions of the setting, characters, clothing, and music. It’s like writing a screen play. Give it a try. It’s Free. I use these to story board a real Life Movie we are filming this summer between Montreal and Lake Superior here in Canada ….. In 1600- 1800’s the British and French worked closely with the local Anishinaabe , Ojibwe , Cree, to establish the Fur Trade routes from Montreal to to the Pacific. They founded the North West Company and Hudson Bay Company and built the North American Economy along the Voyageur routes across Canada and the USA
