Vincent Hall - Budapest - Frida, Vincent & Gustav
In the Vincent Hall (aka Lumière Hall) in Budapest you can watch three animated painting shows about the work and life of different artists. All three famous painters with a life of hardships. You sit surrounded by screens.
This is an art exhibition in which works by Frida Kahlo, Vincent van Gogh and Gustav Klimt are projected digitally in large format, accompanied by music and informative captions. All three exhibitions are projected in the same room.

Frida Kahlo: Unbroken

And this is her as well, with help of AI

If you know her at all, you might only think of a woman with thick eyebrows and a mustache. It is how she painted herself. Not because she looked that way, but because she fought being dominated, genderroles. For sure she was a free spirit and let not anyone stop her from painting. What influenced her paintings were the three miscarriages, the accident, which ruined her body and life (22 operations she had), politics and death.
She wrote in her diary:
As long as I can paint, I can endure life

... but she also said: never again!
Vincent van Gogh: Immersive
Drawings, all sorts of paintings and styles is what Vincent made. He devoted himself entirely to art, to the point of obsession. If we are to believe his words, his admission to a psychiatric clinic brought him a more regular routine, which influenced his painting.
Working in paintings is a necessary for my recovery...
He painted more and faster than ever before.
He felt weak, was misunderstood, focussed on the future, and suffered.
Even in the company of a carer, he did not feel safe outside the institution, walking in the village.
I feel weak, a little anxious ...
He changed his painting style because he wanted everyone to be able to clearly see what he painted!

Vincent painted himself many times in different ways during the last 5 years of his life. It was his proof that painters can show a person in way more different ways than photographers can.

According to him, his last painting was the best.

I like to write about many things but if feels pointless. Our paintings should speak for us, my dear brother. My painting cost me half of my sanity but what can you do?
Vincent shot himself in the chest and died two days later in his room. The world was not ready for a genius and his work.

Gustav Klimt: Experience
This was undoubtedly the worst of the three digital exhibitions. The images changed so quickly on the screens that you couldn’t really see anything. The texts were too long to read at a glance. His painting career was divided into three phases.
Gustav began with frescoes, experienced his golden period, and his madness also seemed to increase, judging by the often jarring colours and garish backgrounds consisting of ornaments or oriental styles.
After the death of his father and brother, his painting style changed. From 1910 onwards, he painted only landscapes (traces of the entire evolution of his work can be found in the landscapes).
To time its art. Art is freedom

Clearly, your exceptional insight leaves nothing out; it's a delight to contemplate, through your experience and travels, the genesis and evolution of the pillars of art.
In particular, I might never have known about these events, since everything here is limited. Continue showcasing universal art through the lens and magic of your pen.

All three are crazy and "insanely talented."
Where is the line that separates madness from talent and genius?
By the way, ordinary people are always more attracted to something on the edge of common sense and ordinary perception. Is this an interesting aspect of creativity?)
==========
Все трое безумные и "безумно талантливые".
Где та грань, которая отделяет безумство от таланта и гениальности?
Кстати, обычных людей всегда больше привлекает что-то на грани здравого смысла и обычного восприятия. Это интересный аспект творчества ?)

Un abrazo.
Wow this are legendary paintings of the masters
The used the paintings to make this show. If you sit there you see it also move. For example leaves grow and blossom floating through the air. It was a great experience to watch these shows.
Thanks for sharing, I have always admired the perseverance of “Frida Kahlo“ ever since I got to read a bit of her story. How she painted while been hospitalized on her sick bed, this just tells you how art is like a food to an artist.
Vincent is obviously my favorite not because of how popular he became, but because his works speaks so much to me, his style is so unique.
I always say this an artist doesn’t retire like other professions, art is life and something we love doing till we die.
As for “ Gustav Klimt” this is my first time of hearing about such artist I think I will do some research on him.
It is true. Once an artist always an artist. They keep testing, trying out new things. What they all have in common is that they they art keeps them alive and therefore frees.
Thanks for stopping by. For sure you like what Gustav painted.
Have a look at 'The Kiss' for example.
Thanks will check more of his works. Have a beautiful day kitty 🐱 🫶🏻❤️
Would love to visit Hungary sometime ♥️
Who knows this "exhibition" also travels your way. In Amsterdam is also one with Frida and Vincent but the third person is not Gustav but Jeroen Bosch.
London and Paris also have Van Gogh Immersive and other painters.
Politics and death, that's precisely what describes this woman.
(Frida Kahlo)
And gender injustice. I wonder how far you would get with a broken body and living with this terrible pain. I doubt I would have continued my life.

I think that nowadays women act differently; they have more opportunities to do so.
