My Introduction

Rahul was being fined for not taking part in his community cleaning process. He was very annoyed for the fine, saying the community has many people to carry out the work, that is present is not necessary before the work is not done.

Ah! Did you just hear that?

Will you say Rahul's reaction isn't right at all or that he has a point?

Before you answer, let's explore this important virtue: "Social Responsibility"

How do you glance towards the word social responsibility? Explain!

This day, I was enjoying the evening breeze at a serene and clean environment

Since it's two words, understanding each word makes it easier to explain:

• Social means anything that involves people's interaction, relationship, corporation and communication. It's about our daily lives as a community.

• Responsibility is being answerable for your actions, decisions, duties among others. Always doing the right thing anytime, anywhere. For example: A responsible security officer at a prominent estate knows when a stranger is at the gate, stops the person and follow a proper procedures before allowing entry.

Now; Social responsibility is when a person or group of people willingly submit themselves to act for the benefit of their community. It covers helping our neighbors, keeping our environment clean, organizing free skills program and others. So you see it's a duty for everyone; rich or poor.

Do you believe at least one community service must be a part of our responsibility? Your viewpoint!

Yes I strongly believe that. When we all contribute to social responsibility, it makes our community a safe, clean and a welcoming place to visit, live and even do business.

From the words community service, you understand it's beyond your home. It should extend to neighbors and the community as a whole. Just as you won't like to litter your house and it's surroundings, you should do same to the street of the community. Dump refuse in the right place and take part in making the environment clean.

That act really shows how responsible you are. It also helps promote and build a better community for everyone.

Charity makes us Rich! Do you believe this term? Justify your view!

Charity makes us rich in value 🥰

Yes I do believe that phrase. But it doesn't literally mean we will become millionaires. Instead it means, we will be rich in value, relationships with other, respect, blessings etc.

For example: I love taking part in environmental sanitation whenever it is announced. And not only taking part, I also support heavily by providing refreshment after the cleaning. Eventually, I traveled days before the sanitation. The people's knowledge of my absence will not be negative. Instead it added value to my name.

That being said, wealth is not all about how heavy your bank account is. Charity in whatever form makes you rich because we don't know what tomorrow's may bring, and the person you help may turn out to be your helper.

My Conclusion

To be honest, this article is a reminder of what I should keep up doing to support my community and make it a better and safer place for everyone.

I also pondered deeply on the last point about charity making someone rich. I came to understand, it's a fact that can't be argued. There are many things charity can genuinely buy but literal riches cannot buy; like genuine respect, responsibility, blessings. You can count them.
