Like they always say, sometimes life throw to us what we expect least and we just need to accept it as it comes. Today I will be participating in the @meraindia Community contest and be sharing my view how far this year have gone.

I prefer quality over quantity, and here’s why:

Well when it comes to the comparisons, I will always go for quality over quantity because of a lot of reasons which I will be talking below;

• Lasting Impact: Whenever you are going for quality, you are rest assured that there is durability factor there. When I talked about durability factor, I mean lasting impact on anything you are doing or even creating. So you will not just be creating something because of the number but instead because of the value.

• Trust and Reputation: The second reason why I will always go for quality instead of quantity is the fact that it will earn you trust. Whether we like it or not, people always go for quality and the more your product or service is quality, the more you earn their trust and reputation the more.

• Personal Fulfillment: Then lastly is that you will be achieved personally. There is a walrus this sense of fulfillments that one enjoyed when you create something valuable and of high standards. Quality always give you this deeper sense of fulfilment.

Of course I do bargain because I want a more reduced price and at the same time have this quality product also. Most especially in informal markets, I always bargain in fact where I come from, bargaining is a common culture in Nigeria.

Trying to share this bargaining experience I have was the day I went to a local market in my state. I was actually intending to buy Ankara fabric. There was this price the vendor first quoted for me which was so high much more than my budget. At first I was thinking it will not be impossible to bargain but I just decided to try my luck.

But the strategy I used is to first of all compliment that particular fabric quality and from there I begin to negotiate. At the end of the day, I was able to get it at the desire price I actually wanted. Getting home, I was still shocked I can get that particular product in that price rate. That particular day, I actually learn patience is the key when bargaining.

One of the things that we must always do is that in our daily lifestyle, we should always go for quality instead of quantity and I am not only talking about when we want to buy a particular product from a vendor but I am even saying it spread all across our life. It will at the end of the day give us this meaningful life that we actually need and want.

Quality will help you to value relationships and makes sure that connection really matters as the most. You will need support system and it is not a mindset of quantity that will give you that but a mindset of quality. Not only that, it will also help to promote your productivity as it is quite needed. You need not to joke with productivity in your life because that will determine the greatness you achieve.
