Incredible India monthly contest of May#1| My preferred profession.

Hello steemians how are you today? I hope you are as well as I am. I am here to give my view on this interesting topic in the incredible Indian community organised by @meraindia. Thank you for the opportunity.

What is your preferred profession and why?

My preferred profession is the TEACHING profession. My choice for the teaching profession is stated below:

• influence of my secondary school Biology teacher whose teaching style was exceptional. His passion and love towards teaching made me love the profession.
• Flexibility: The teaching profession allows you time for personal and professional activities outside of the classroom. You close early from work and there are other several holidays.
• personal & professional development: The teaching profession gives opportunities for teachers to be current through workshops, seminars and personal studies
• Satisfaction: The teaching profession gives job satisfaction as you teach and watch your students or pupils grow.

Are you satisfied with the profession you are recently attached to? Justify your answer.

Yes! I am satisfied with my current profession. By the grace of God, I am a teacher by profession. I have taught for some years in the primary school and now teaching at the secondary school. Teaching is not as easy as some people view but despite the challenges I can categorically say that I am satisfied because of the following reasons:

• I close as early as 2:00 pm to unite with my family and carry out my activities.
• There is time to do my activities even at the place of work. We usually have long break, short break and we also have free periods in our time table of work.
• It has helped me master my area of specialization more.
• It has allowed me to train the younger ones. Some of my students today are graduates and that gives me joy.
• The pay is okay

Do you believe job satisfaction is equally essential to earning?

Yes, I believe that job satisfaction is equally essential to earning. The truth is that when you are satisfied with the job you are doing, you will do the job with passion, and enthusiasm. You may also be more creative and productive on the job

What is your dream profession that you would like to pursue?

My dream profession that I would like to pursue is still the TEACHING profession but at a higher level of learning like the colleges of Education or Polytechnics. At this level, one will interact with mature minds, may go to work when he or she has a task to carry out, can easily travel without necessarily taking passion from superior officers and can have other jobs or run other business simultaneously with the teaching job. Finally, the institution herself will encourage you to further your education and even give you a full scholarship.

Conclusion
