Ego is a behavioral value portrayed by people of special personality. Someone with Ego is indeed someone who has so much pride and would love to be addressed in same kind of way. A person with who would most definitely be involved in arguments more often than not. Refusing to give in to ideas only holding his own claims adamantly. In other words he is "Mr. Don't Correct Me" They seek validation from people and try to be talked about as superior, threatened by people's success and strife to be at the top, just to drop a statement!

However, Self confidence is maturity in behavior, they could be wrong at occasions and admit to the their wrongs. They have "Teachable Spirit" and not rebellious. They hold their respect in high esteem and are admired by people too. They embrace little wins and celebrate others victory too. They are socially relatable and indeed earn their respect due to the value the portray. This is indeed my perspective on these two great behavioral patterns.

Differences between Ego and self confidence from the best of my knowledge is displayed below and thus;

EGOCENTRIC	SELF-CONFIDENT
Feels threatened by people's success as though in a competition with others	Feels happy at people's win and successes by celebrating and sharing in it.
They are defensive at slightest argument and never ready to learn, having their ideas as superior.	They have a teachable spirit and learn from ideas and opinions brought to their knowledge.
They are revolt at slightest provocation and refuse to apologize after issues or arguments.	They apologize after logical basics of offending someone at any point, a sign of maturity.
They can't handle pressure and could flame up at slightest provocation	They expertly handle pressure without fear or favor socializing well and thus great emotionally intelligent beings.

Self confidence is required in our lives. It determined how you are perceived or how people see you, a prerequisite of success. With self confidence you make friends, grow and connect with others making out a better version of yourself, all these happening seamlessly

Meanwhile, ego causes conflict between parties deteriorating your social circle, unteachable spirit causes your tired friends to leave you all to yourself denying you opportunities and creating loopholes in relationships. On the verge of seeking self respect your loose it because respect is not demanded but earned We all must adopt self confidence, standing up for your right while embracing people's win and seeking for ours too.
