That's right, my friend. Criticism always aims to provide descriptive details about a situation or behavior; the key is how the person receives it. If they assimilate it constructively, it will contribute to their personal development; otherwise, it can hinder it.
It's important to be very objective when providing information or making judgments about aspects or situations that concern a person. Subjectivity is what determines whether it's perceived as positive or negative.
