"Steem Made Alive"
I am @hudamalik20 from Pakistan. How are you all ?. I hope you all are well and doing great in your life .Today I am participating in this contest "Steem Made Alive" organized by @nsijoro in Incredible India Community. So let's start.
How has the struggle been before your emergence into the platform?
Before joining Steemit, life was quite different, and I struggled a lot. I was wasting a lot of my time and felt a lot of stress, especially related to my studies. My exams had finished, and although I was free, I still felt anxious and unsure about what to do.
I felt like I wasn’t progressing, and even though I wanted to start a new semester or course, I lacked direction.
Seeing others around me secure good jobs and earn well made me feel even more discouraged. No one was there to guide or support me, and I ended up spending most of my time on my phone, feeling lost and unsure of my future path.
I had no clear idea about which degree to choose or which subjects would help build a successful future. There’s a lack of job opportunities here, even for degree holders, and that thought added to my stress.
I wondered if all my hard work in studies would ever lead to a good job, especially considering my family was supporting me financially.
I spent days searching on YouTube, hoping to find some guidance or a productive platform. I wanted to engage in something meaningful, something that would make my free time productive and potentially benefit me financially, helping me support myself without putting too much burden on my parents.
Eventually, someone told me about Steemit a platform where I could learn and grow from home, connect with people, and share my ideas. I tried several websites and apps before, but they either didn’t work out or led to losses. I felt exhausted and defeated, thinking maybe there was nothing I could do.
How has steemit transformed your life?
Steemit has transformed my life in such a positive way. Before joining, I was filled with self doubt, feeling like I couldn’t achieve much. However, since I started posting on Steemit, I’ve gained confidence and learned to improve myself.
Initially, I was worried about making mistakes, and it was discouraging when others pointed them out. But over time, I embraced feedback, started correcting my errors, and gradually became more comfortable engaging with others.
Now, I feel confident enough to interact with different people on the platform. I used to be very hesitant, thinking others might react negatively if I asked questions. But Steemit helped me overcome this fear, and I now reach out to others without hesitation.
I’ve learned a lot from the community and found people who support me in my studies.Financially, Steemit has also been a great support. I can earn some pocket money, which has given me a sense of independence.
I now use my free time productively, balancing my studies with Steemit activities. It’s been over a year since I joined, and I feel confident sharing my content and even encouraging others to join and become independent.
Steemit has brought a lot of positivity into my life. I no longer waste time endlessly scrolling through social media or watching dramas. Instead, I focus on creating thoughtful posts and choose topics that interest me. It’s helped me focus on my studies as well, and I feel more independent and productive with my time.
Share your experiences on the platform?
My experience on Steemit has been quite a journey. In the beginning, I struggled because I made a lot of mistakes. When others pointed them out, I sometimes felt discouraged because of my sensitive nature.
Since comments don’t convey tone clearly, I couldn’t tell if the feedback was friendly or serious. This made me nervous at first, but over time, I realized that people were actually trying to help me improve.
Gradually, I learned to accept feedback as a way to better myself. Steemit mentors and curators have been especially supportive, guiding me to create quality content and encouraging me to stand out. As I improved, I noticed I was getting more positive responses, which motivated me to keep going.
I started spending more time on my posts, aiming for quality over quantity. Receiving votes on my content kept me motivated, and I found joy in seeing my hard work appreciated.
Over time, I also began engaging more with others on the platform, commenting on their posts, and learning from their experiences. As Steem’s value increased, it boosted my motivation further, as I could see my earnings growing and my account value improving. I also learned about SP which benefits our earnings and engagement on the platform.
When I had more free time after exams, I focused even more on Steemit, dedicating myself to both the platform and my studies. Now, I feel proud of my efforts and don’t feel like my time is being wasted. Steemit has made me more productive, utilizing my free time effectively.
While there are times when I feel demotivated, especially if I receive fewer votes or the Steem rate fluctuates, I mostly feel motivated. My experience has been positive overall, and I’m grateful for the chance to connect with new people and gain valuable insights. Steemit has helped me grow and use my time more purposefully.
That's it from today's blog I hope you will like it. With best wishes ❤️. Now I like to invite @abdul-rakib , @sisol and @neelofar to participate in this amazing contest.
