SEC17/W1|Heaven and Hell fantasy or reality?

in Incredible India25 days ago (edited)

The reason for not posting last week was due to the fact that in the last 10 days of Ramadan, hundreds and thousands of Muslims sit in Aitekaafs, cutting off from the outer world for self reflection and worship. I was one of them. My voting CSI and engagement might be less due to this but I'll get right back on track. I just came back home from the local Masjid and this is my entry for the engagement challenge.

Do you believe there is a place named heaven and hell out of this world? Justify your belief.

Allah mentioned in the Quran:

This is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord” (Quran, 47:15)

As a Muslim, I have firm belief in the reality of Heaven and Hell. As a human being, I believe in Justice and all of us, in out lives, have seen that a lot of people are deprived of justice just because they're poor or because they're fighting with powerful and influential people. So what about those powerless, helpless people who have no one to take a stand for them? For them, I believe there'll be justice on the Day of Judgement promised by the God.

For example if someone has killed a 1000 men. What will be the punishment of this murderer? The court will give the order of killing him. What then? What about the 99 other souls that he took? For this exact reason I believe Hell exists as we have learned:

As for the disbelievers, they will have the Fire of Hell, where they will not be ˹allowed to be˺ finished by death, nor will its torment be lightened for them.

If the concept of Hell and Heaven is taken away from the people than there'll be a lot of corruption on Earth. Everyone will do whatever they want to without the fear of being thrown into Hellfire and the greed of getting in Heaven.

Do you believe karma decides our future, and we get results according to the same

In English it is known as Karma, in our language we call it مکافات عمل and I have 100% belief in it. I think that whatever you do, it'll come sooner or later to bite you or benefit you.

Karma is a very real thing. For example if you are not kind with animals, you hurt them, don't feed them, then it is my belief that life will not be easy for you, you'll get return of your bad actions and it will affect you somehow.

The life we're spending, whether good or bad, is a result of the karma of our actions. Even in Islam, there's a strong indication of Karma as we wrong ourselves a lot of times and then bad things occur to us.

But apart from that, I firmly believe in the Qadr Allah, which means that everything has been decreed by Allah, and it will happen no matter what. Whatever that is about to happen to is already written, and we are given the choice of doing the good and avoiding the bad.

Do you believe immortality and chasteness are some factors that affect our lifestyle? Describe.

كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۖ Every soul must taste death. There is absolutely no immortality in this life, however in the hereafter there's complete immortality. There's not a single human being on this entire earth, in entire history who has been immortal. There have been a lot of people who have tried to remain immortal, conducting different Experiments with their bodies but all failed. There have been a lot of Kings who claimed immortality such as the Pharoah but even he was a mere mortal.

But I think, chasteness indeed has a very broad affect on our lifestyles. The idea of being a good person, has it's affects on the level of our souls. We turn out to be good people, creating a good society where all of us can live in harmony.

Yea I think that was the same thing God was also thinking about when he makes both heaven and ell. Just as you believe in justice, God was also believing in justice

Hello @huzaifanaveed1! Thank you for sharing your experience and insights about your absence last week and your beliefs about heaven, hell, karma, immortality and chastity. Your deep knowledge of Islamic teachings and the relevance of it to contemporary life is truly enlightening. It's inspiring to see how your faith guides your perspectives on justice, morality, and the consequences of actions. Eid Mubarak for you too and best luck on the contest!

Immortality is a mere illusion in this world, as every soul must taste death. Chasteness, on the other hand, has a significant impact on our lifestyle, shaping the level of our souls and creating a harmonious society. All of these beliefs influence my actions and choices in life, guided by the teachings of Islam.
