SEC17/W3|Experiences come with age or circumstances!
Been a week since I posted here. Can't blame anyone else but me. I've been quite busy this last week. For those who might want to know, I've been organizing free dental check-ups in Government Schools of Karachi where the less privileged students on this city study. Ironic isn't it? Government education was supposed to be good and for everyone, bu it's quite the opposite here. If I get time, I'll post about it tomorrow.
Anyway, this week we have got quite an interesting topic in Incredible India. I've started to like these contests as topics like this one really makes a person contemplate before writing anything. This week isn't any different as we hav another very interesting topic which speaks about maturity. Let's start straight away.

Ahhh! Compelling question I must say. Maturity is a very difficult term and it encircles a lot of aspects in it, I don't think I'm qualified enough to answer it but I'll give it a shot nonetheless.
- Maturity is when you know what you want but you also know what you need. You know what your heart has been craving for but you know what you need for survival. Maturity is realizing you cannot have that R3 that you see everyday in the showroom while passing by it when you go to work, it is when you realize that if you waste too much time gaping at that beauty, you might get late for work and you have your children to feed at home.

- choices choices choices. Maturity is learning how to make the correct choice. When to speak and when to stat silent. Whom to talk back, and with whom staying silent.
- Maturity is realizing that if you're financially strong, you've overcame more than 50% of your life problems. You want to go on a vacation? Money. You have someone you love who's extremely sick and needs hospital treatment? Money. You need to study? Money. You need transportation? Money. You need to breath? Money. Not the most important thing, yet the most important one....
- Maturity is accepting responsibilities from a very young age. When you have to the man of the house even though you're just a 13 year old girl. Circumstances drag us to places where we'd never imagine ourselves in. But thats life, and maturity is accepting the the reality...
I could go on and on and on but I guess I'll just stop right here. I'm sure you'll must have an idea regarding my approach towards maturity. Let's head on to the next question.

I want to give it to the person who compiled this contest. Such difficult questions. Which one of you came up with this masterpiece?
A bit of this and a bit of that. Experience comes with time and time is the best teacher. Some might reach that time at a very early age and some might not even learn untill they are in there graves. This brings us to the circumstances that time brings with it so I think it's the circumstances that weigh a bit more than age in this competition.
This picture I found on facebook is the perfect representation of how our life depends upon circumstances. Some people spend their whole lives caged up, protected, imprisoned, secluded. Some people are forced to leave the cage due to their circumstances. All about perspective.....
To conclude, I think circumstances force a man/woman to do things they'd not do normally. What mother would send his 9 year old kid from 8 am to 1 am to sell pens at a traffic signal when she knows that education and school is more important for her. What kid would like to serve at a mechanic at a young age and work tirelessly for 12+ hours? Circumstances.... That's what builds us and breaks us.

You might call me ill-mannered and you might call my opinion controversial but I've never been the one who says that all old people deserve to be respected just because they're old. Sorry, I don't advocate for this bs. I cannot respect an old guy who's being disrespectful to me or to my family.
I believe leaning doesn't have an age. It begins when a child starts to feed and doesn't end until that old man is lowered down in his grave. You learn something every moment of your life. For instance, I've been a very old user of Steemit, but since I took a long break and then rejoined, I had forgotten some of the markdown styles, a comparatively fresh user guided on how to use them. I learned something that day. Or should I say, relearned.
So yes, I'm a strong believer that learning has no age. You learn until you're dead.

I'm with you there... You don't automatically become wise with age... It's the sum of your experiences that makes a mature person. This can also be true at a young age. For example, you are still enviably young and have a broad horizon that some older people might be envious of ;-))

I think I really love your definition about maturity. Maturity deals with what you want and not only what you need also. Life is all about learning and experience deals with experience

Glad to know that you went for free check-up last week in different school for check-up because you are a dental doctor so you are providing your services in different schools. Maturity is really a very difficult task. In maturity, one has to go through different stages. One has to face different people. When we are mature, then our mental and physical growth becomes very strong and we are on our own. We become dependent, not that we are dependent on others, but I think maturity and understanding comes with time, but society also plays an important role in teaching us that when people misbehave with us. So we automatically show wisdom by seeing this behavior and maturity when the age of maturity passes but the experiences are what we learn from our society and from the attitudes of people who teach us what is good. If there is an attitude, there is a bad attitude. When we face people with bad attitude, we say no. Mental and mental-physical calculations become weak, our ability to think and understand decreases, then our maturity also decreases, but if we see that in old age, it should be more, but not, our calculations become weak and we lose our self. If we are not capable of making decisions, middle age is the stage in which we struggle and work so hard that it is called the part of our wisdom and maturity when we are able to do something for ourselves.
