Incredible India Monthly Contest of April#1: Human intelligence vs Artificial intelligence!

in Incredible India7 days ago

Hello, friends welcome to my post in which I have discussed "Human intelligence vs Artificial intelligence!" as part of my participation in this contest organized by @meraindia

How is artificial intelligence influencing human cognition and the broader world? We would appreciate your insights on this matter.

Artificial intelligence is significantly influencing human cognition and the broader world in solving problems, helping humans accomplish their work faster. Artificial intelligence is now being used globally as a tool that assists humans in reasoning or thinking quickly and coming up with better solutions to problems.

As a student running his second degree, I have come across a lot of students and lecturers who are using artificial intelligence for learning and educational purposes. Students make use of AI tools to solve problems, explain concepts, and improve learning in the same way lecturers make use of them to enhance their skills.

There is an information technology industry that I visited some months ago, where I saw how one of the staff members was using artificial intelligence to support decision-making. In industries like finance, healthcare, and other sectors, staff make use of artificial intelligence to make accurate decisions.

Also, even in the financial markets especially in the crypto and forex trading AI tools are used to analyse the market like getting a sign about the rising or falling of a currency/cryptocurrency.

Artificial intelligence has now become a global phenomenon, which is developing rapidly as there is AI for video content, engineering, and a lot more, all of which are for the purpose of making the world more efficient and data-driven.

Please provide a comprehensive analysis of the advantages and disadvantages associated with Artificial Intelligence.

Whatever has advantages equally has disadvantages, and artificial intelligence isn't left behind.

Advantage

Artificial intelligence has increased productivity and efficiency so that work can be done faster than relying on human efforts. Also, it is more accurate as it reduces errors because it can analyse large amounts of data. The third one is that artificial intelligence is always available for use come day or night. Finally, this brings about economic growth.

Disadvantages

Job loss or replacement is the key disadvantage of artificial intelligence, because it is likely to replace so many jobs that we have started seeing. Also, it makes people become lazy and think less as people rely more on technology, weakening their motivation to study or research, or think for themselves. It is expensive to use as there are paid versions of AI and also building AI tools is expensive.

People are relying more on artificial intelligence (AI) instead of using their own intelligence. What do you think about this?

Yes, it is true that people now rely more on artificial intelligence (AI) instead of using their own intelligence. The reasons are many and one of them is that it helps people to conduct research, calculate and interpret, or make decisions for them. Other reasons why I think about this are:

  • Artificial intelligence (AI) saves time and improves productivity on something that would take people days or hours to complete AI can complete it within minutes.

  • Another reason is that it solves complex problems faster than relying on humans, and on this, it even brings up solutions for further improvement.

In all of that, I think people can balance the use of AI with their own intelligence rather than replacing their own intelligence with AI to be on the safe side.

Biological intelligence is as necessary today as Artificial intelligence. We need to teach the young ones to use AI not to entire depend on them
