The Diary Game: Working Through The Harsh Weather Of The Day ||27/03/2026||

I'm glad I now finally have the opportunity to share my diary with y'all. Weekends can be a bit busy for me because most times some important chores come unannounced during these periods.

On friday, I had to run an impromptu errand to the farm, it wasn't planned. We were supposed to actually go to the farm but we couldn't go as a group, so we had to make alternative plans by getting the things needed and then handing them over to our worker at the farm who I already called to meet me at a designated location far from the farm.

After the plan was clear and concise, I embarked on the journey, leaving the office under the hot sun that has become the order of the day in this part of the world. Oh the sun shines like it's having its revenge on the sons of Adam.

I look so stressed already, the sun has beaten me blue-black, I do not think I'm even fair anymore. Someone saw me yesterday and was like, why are you looking so dark? The sun/heat in this period must have really dealt with you? I do not even know if to take that as a compliment or a verbal jab,but it is what it is...smiles.

Sorry I digressed a bit, let me get right back into the activity. So yeah! I went to Adom, a big firm that deals in all manner of animal feed and concentrates. This time I didn't go to get food items for the animals, I went for vitamins which would be added to the feed at the farm.

I waited a bit after I got the vitamins, I was actually waiting for our worker at the farm who I had asked to come meet me in the town. Shortly after, he called to change the meeting point asking me to come meet him at a place closer to his current location. Anyways I obliged and took off.

When I got there he wasn't there yet, thereby exposing me to another round of direct sunlight giving me additional beating of my life because I was at a commercial car park having no shades, waiting for this worker of ours.

Just when I was feeling frustrated by the whole situation, I noticed a particular lubricant company carrying out a promotional campaign in the park since it's a potential location for massive sales. The event was what kept me a bit engaged while I waited.

I watched as random people were picked to come perform a dance and some other entertaining activity and were gifted for those performances. It was fun though, just that my mind was not really in a good state to enjoy everything. It was shortly after this that the one who I've been waiting for arrived.

I delivered what I had with me and then we parted ways shortly after. It was on my way back that the rain started suddenly , thank God I was lucky enough to see a place to hide myself. It was not so convenient but I managed somehow so that the rain doesn't drench me.

The rain was indeed needed after the long hot day, in fact it started raining unannounced. The weather did not change to announce it coming, it just started suddenly and lasted for almost an hour. To me it's kind of a consolation for the hot sun that had beaten me all day.

It's funny how I didn't allow the rain drench me even though I desired it but I think it is enough that it brought a little cooling condition to the already got weather. Got home later that day and had a very restful evening.
