The mind operates logically on facts while the heart operates more with emotions and imaginations. Although both the mind and the heart are important when it comes to decision-making, some decisions are better kept emotions away and handled logically, so in decision-making, I would prefer the mind when it comes to serious and logical matters and the heart when I'm dealing with emotional matters.
All decisions are not the same, so they shouldn't come from one side. I think we give the heart more opportunities for decision-making, and then the mind is out of the blue. Most times, when we make decisions with the mind, we get the best out of them, and most times they give us the worst. The same is also applicable to the heart.
Some time last year, I was left in the middle of a heavy decision about whether to continue with my business or not. With my heart, I thought about my workers who might be stranded if I close down the business, and these workers have done terrible things to me. Thinking with my mind, I began to see clear reasons why I should shut down the business.
It took me a long time to detach emotions from my decisions. There are matters the heart cannot decide, and there are matters the mind and the heart could give a clear and better decision.

Just like I mentioned earlier, there are matters on which both the mind and the heart are needed to decide. There are times when the heart and the mind give ideas at the same time, and we are left in a confused state.
The heart and the mind work hand in hand in decision-making. I think the heart sends a message to the mind, while the mind also sends a message to the heart in some decisions. That is why people usually have a double mind in some decisions.

I think I am unpredictable. I can be emotional today and be practical tomorrow. I think this has to do with the issues at hand. If I'm in serious business discussions with some clients, I don't need to bring emotions to it; otherwise, it will all go wrong.
When the need for emotions arises, I decide with my heart because it would be unfair if I were practical with it. At times, in practical decisions, I bring emotions attached, and it doesn't go wrong but ends up well. Having known about mind and heart decisions, I think I am both.

Hello youths, I know sometimes you find yourself in a state of confusion where making decisions becomes a big deal. Well, we have all been there, and we scaled through.
I know your friends would ask you to follow your heart in some decisions, but have you considered detaching emotions and making a proper decision where your mind is involved? I think you should always make decisions with your mind and not just your heart.
They are both needed in decision-making, so just be careful when taking some decisions. You could bring the heart and the mind together to decide.

El corazón es traicionero y, la mente casi nunca se equivoca por tal razón, si queremos que nuestras decisiones sean las más atinadas, debemos decidir de manera equilibrada porque, cada elemento tiene la facultad de transmitirnos las ventajas y desventajas que tiene toma esa decisión.

Es que las circunstancias son las que determinan que alternativa debe tomar la batuta para generar una buena decisión.
Es que dejar que el corazón domine o que lo haga el cerebro, esta sujeto a las circunstancias que nos rodea. De allí que es normal, o por lo menos para mi, que no te definas totalmente en un opción.
Un día practica, otro día sentimental, de hecho, esto podría pasar mas seguido y ser en algún momento de un forma y en otro de otra forma el mismo día.
Es que asi es la vida, compleja y diseñada para estar dirigida por momentos precisos, que generalmente, es donde se debe tomar las decisiones.
