This is my first post in the Incredible India community and I would like to appreciate everyone who welcomed me warmly both on the Telegram group and on the Discord group too.

I am very pleased to be participating in this contest as it has given me the opportunity to explore parts of history that have over the time crossed my mind, but I haven't really given due thought to.

There are several points in history which I have thought about while trying to come up with one I find worthy enough. The timeline of human existence is indeed a very interesting one when you consider the various occurrences in the past, which we can only read about, or see evidence through fossils, art, recorded music and much more.

It took a while (days actually) but I was able to come up with a specific answer, eventually.

Which era would I like to travel to, in a time machine and why?

I would love the chance to go back in time with a time machine. There are so many eras and events throughout history that I would love to witness firsthand, but if I necessarily had to choose one, I would go back to the Renaissance era.

The Renaissance era was a time of great artistic, cultural, and scientific advancement, and I would love to experience it first-hand. I would love to see the works of Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and Raphael in person, as well as other famous artists, architects, and scientists of the time. The music, literature, and theater of the Renaissance would also be a treat to experience in person. I would also love to see the technological advancements of the time, such as the printing press and the development of modern science.

The reason for my preference is because I am a creative who is very invested in literature of different forms and in addition, I am a paintings enthusiast. I derive a lot of joy and pleasure from beholding art in it's raw form.

Who would I want to travel with, and why?

As for whom I would like to travel with, I would choose my best friend. I believe that having a close companion to share the experience with would make it even more special. My best friend and I are both passionate about history and culture, and we would be able to explore all the wonders of the Renaissance era together.

We were actually able to bond easily at the time we met because we shared the same interests and we were able to channel the connection felt, into a meaningful friendship that we have built strong over the years.

If I had the opportunity to bring back something from the said era in history, what would it be?

Finally, if I had the chance to bring back one thing from the Renaissance era, I would choose a painting or a sculpture. I have always been fascinated by the art of the Renaissance, and I would love to have a piece of it to bring back to the present day. Perhaps I could choose a painting by Leonardo da Vinci, such as the Mona Lisa

or The Last Supper, or a sculpture by Michelangelo, such as David

or the Pietà,

or it could even be a piece of painting that has long been destroyed. I would relish the opportunity to bring it back and have the world behold it. Having a piece of art from the Renaissance era would not only be a wonderful addition to my personal collection, but it would also be a tangible reminder of the incredible time that I was able to experience firsthand.

In Conclusion...

Overall, the opportunity to travel back in time with a time machine would truly be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I would love to experience the Renaissance era in person. The artistic, cultural, and scientific advancements of the time would be an incredible thing to witness, and I would cherish every moment of it.

The past is never dead. It's not even past.

Thank you so much for participating in the Engagement Challenge. It would be great if you could actually travel back in time with a time machine. You mention travel back in time very nicely. Your participation was very good.

But before participating in the competition certain criteria have to be maintained. It is very important to maintain your club. Best wishes for you.
