Incredible India Monthly Community Contest for January #1: Strength!
Hello friends!!
It's a new year therefore happy new year..
What is your perspective on the concept of strength? Please describe |
|---|
Strength is an inner resolve to do what needs to be done no matter what it will cost and not giving up until it is done.
Strength is not measured in age, height or size. Strength is a capacity built from within to sustain you through a task
Strength is not the absence of obstacles, neither is it the absence of failure.
Strength gives you the willingness to do or to continue a thing even when the results are not forth coming.
Strength is also seen as the area which you have proven to do better, sometimes even better than others.
How can individuals leverage their strengths to foster personal development or contribute to societal improvement? Please elaborate on this concept |
|---|
Individuals can leverage on their strength to foster personal development. After finding out the areas that you are good at for example, if a person discovers he is good at colour combinations in terms of clothes, he can decide to go into fashion designing to develop self.
By so doing his strength has been developed likewise himself and in turn he becomes more profitable to the society providing services and also employing others.
Individuals and society will become better if we find out strength and develop it more
Do you believe that strength is inherently linked to the responsibility of upholding righteousness? Please justify your perspective |
|---|
Yes strength is inherently link to the responsibility of upholding righteousness. Strength like I said earlier is an inner resolve to do what needs to be done.
For instance, to resolve not to do wrong even when the world doesn't appreciate those who is good is strength.
It takes strength to stay righteous especially in this time when there is a lot happening in the world
Over here in my country, what is in vogue is young boys doing money ritual. The economy is so bad, people are suffering and the pressure keeps pushing the young ones go into rituals to make wealth. It takes only people of great strength to continue working hard.
Therefore this is to say only those who have inherent strength can make wealth genuinely.
