Today, my brother was discharged from the hospital; however, for the next two weeks, he will be fed through a feeding tube.
The tube that was previously inserted
in his throat has been removed. We are currently awaiting the results of the biopsy on the portion of his tongue that was excised during his cancer treatment procedure. The physician removed some additional tissue to determine whether the cancer has spread to that area. We continue to face several challenges as we navigate this situation.
