Village living conditions in winter and mother's advice

Assalamualaikum from Tahirazaman to all my friends and colleagues. I hope everyone is well. I am well and praying for you all. Before describing the conditions of every day of life, it is very important to state that it has been very cold in our area since yesterday.

Electricity problems in the village

Everything looks like it will snow. The reason for this is that it has rained in our area and there has been a lot of snow in the village next to our village, while never before has there been snow in our areas, which is why it will be so cold that ice freezes in the water tanks. Every life is being affected a lot due to this cold. The second rain is coming along with the electricity being turned off due to the rain, this is a very painful phase. There was no electricity the whole night before, due to which the children had not done their homework for school and they were not even going to school due to this fear. Then I called the children's headmaster and told everything. He also knew, but the children had in mind that if they did not work, they would definitely get a scolding from the school. If it is very cold and there is no electricity, one can at least turn on the heater and keep the children in the room, but as soon as the first drop of rain falls, the electricity in our village goes out for 24 hours.

Waking up early on a cold day

Well, early in the morning when I woke up, there was no electricity. I went to perform ablution to pray, and there was ice inside the pots. I first took it out with difficulty, then heated it on the fire and performed ablution. Earlier, when there was electricity, I used to run the water pump. Fresh water is hot, so it is very easy to perform ablution. Well, I performed ablution and performed Fajr prayer. Then when I started going to the kitchen after praying, there was light. It was morning, but the cold was very severe.

My mother's advice to me

First, I went to the kitchen and cut the bread I had eaten last night into small pieces, then put it in a plate and placed it on the roof of my house for the birds. My mother taught me this way of feeding the birds pieces of bread early in the morning. As long as my mother was alive, she used to give the birds food or bread crumbs every morning, then she would eat breakfast herself. She would tell me, "Daughter, take care of Allah's creation. Allah is very pleased with you taking care of His creation." My mother used to tell me that it is better than any act of worship to give food to His creation, meaning to feed His creation.

I am very thankful for your support

Wow, your story really shows how tough the cold and power outages can be. I can imagine how difficult it must be for the children and for you managing everything. I also loved the part about feeding the birds. I also love feeding birds. It feels so peaceful and happy to take care of them, just like your mother taught you. Your story is touching and inspiring.
