How is artificial intelligence influencing human cognition and the broader world?

There are always people who are pro and the others against artificial intelligence. I believe since the early years when the very first time we had heard or maybe read about AI in books and maybe in movies we had different opinion. As always when we think about something that is unknown to us we have a bit of anxiety and suspicion of if that is good or bad for us.

Of course, the positive side of artificial intelligence is very positive and we notice the benefits of it. Often it makes it easy to find something in internet. For people who are a bit elderly and have difficulties to fill in the forms for submission to council or maybe to write some letters that we sometimes struggle to write. Those things are simple and we should use them not to replace but to help to improve what we have around us and to combine human and artificial intelligence to get the better results.

Please provide a comprehensive analysis of the advantages and disadvantages associated with Artificial Intelligence.

There are always advantages and disadvantages of anything and understandably there are for Artificial Intelligence.

Advantages:

AI can easily search and find any information in Internet. We can find anything about modern development in any field of technology and to adopt in our own life.
AI can be very precise when to do anything like calculation, building, in medicine diagnosing and treatment, teaching
for Police it is easy to recognise the facial features when searching for the criminals when the information should be taken from the CCTV
at home it is something that we use for smart home and security reasons

Disadvantages:

criminals could also use the same features of AI programs in their criminal goals
AI is like a baby that is absorbing everything good and bad without knowing if it is good of bad and like people it can became very positive but also very dangerous for the human society
like in the movies the AI can decide that human is too lazy and self-destroying and may decide to eliminate humanity

People are relying more on artificial intelligence (AI) instead of using their own intelligence. What do you think about this?

I agree nowadays we notice that many people starting use AI more and more often, especially if young people start learning how to use AI in their own benefits and what they can achieve with using that, they definitely will get more used to that service, relying on knowledge that is provided by AI. I think it is necessary to have development of AI and it can make our life easier but we also have to be careful not fully let AI to take over everything from us, human. So we need to find a golden middle between human and AI.
