You are right in parties and specially in marriages people waste a lot of water and food. If they don't want to drink a full glass then why they fill the glass to the mouth? They fill their plate with all things but end up giving because their stomach is full and they waste the food.

Yes brother we purify ourselves 5 times a day through ablution (Wudu). We use less water in it because we know the importance of water.

There are many areas where water supply is near to nothing or if they have water supply, it is so dirty that it can damage us from inside. So we must respect and appreciate each drop of water.
