What your favorite movie and why?

Recurring my favourite movie which talks about entrepreneurship is not an easy task and that is the main reason I took a little more time to make my entry in this wonderful contest today. I have a favourite movie but that didn't talk about entrepreneurship so I had to search and recall another which seems interesting to me that teachers entrepreneurship.

My favourite movie is Talented Hands. This is a movie which talks about the Igbo people and how they do wonders when it comes to business. No matter where they find themselves, they will always stand out among the crowed because of their marketing strategies. I will explain more about the movie in the next question.

How does the storyline or theme of your favorite movie relate to real world entrepreneurship ?

Talented hand is a movie that talks about how the Igbos have the spirit of doing business and prospering. In a certain community, they Igbos came to dwell in a village far north i.e different from the East where they are originated.

They came and then started like others to do the various business they are doing. An Igbo man in that movie taught me two things one is packaging and the other is how to treat your customers.

Since there is a big competition between them and those that originally own the land, they decided to come up with some business strategy that will keep them ahead. One thing the do is to always welcome and entertain their customers giving them drinks and making sure they are comfortable.

No matter what you are looking for even if they don't have, they will ask you to wait while they go get it from their other store and they will pick from another store and bring their target is that you must buy something.

What specific business lessons or strategie can be learned from the character or events in the movie ?

One of the most business strategies I learnt in the movie was how to package and also attend to customers. I saw that customers always like a place where they can be treated as kings and queens and also they will be ready to pay well because you treated them as such.

So treating your customers well and packaging the goods very well goes along way. I have also adopted that to my business and to be frank, I have made better income and profit compare to they way the business was.

You put all the bills of your purchase on the price and since the person see how you have tried they won't argue when it comes to payment. So that is a great strategy in business that I have learnt.

In what way has your favorite movie influence your own entrepreneurial mindset or approach to business challenges ?

The movie has taught me greatly how to better handle my business and also it has given me a lot of business strategy which I will implore when I finally get my own business. You see the idea of packaging and the idea of treating customer right is the major aspect that I will like to tackle.

I believe strongly within me after seeing the imapct in the little business I tried this strategy that if I use this strategy in a bigger business of my own then I will get more profit.
