Dear Diary,

The warmth of the morning sun is very pleasant in winter. Today I went to our yard to sunbathe and saw a cat sitting on the balcony of our house. We have a few cats at home although they don't stay with us at night. They come to our house for eating. The cat was sitting with the rest of my family and basking in the sun. When I go to take a picture of the cat, the cat goes away after seeing me. Then I try to take some pictures. But she/he was running here and there. I really couldn’t figure out the reason for such strange behavior of this cat.

Then me and my brother water our plants. We water the plants with a long water pipe. First we water the small plants and then the big plants. We have a large number of betel nut trees planted around our house. Finally, we water the small coconut trees. The coconut tree was planted not long ago. It is a species of coconut tree from Vietnam that produces fruit comparatively in no times.

My mother bought a new stove today. These are ovens made of clay. Almost everyone in our village cooks using a clay oven. There are some rules for making this stove and various things need to be taken care of while setting up the stove. Cooking is done in clay ovens with dry wood or bamboo. Many people also cook with dry leaves. Foods cooked in this oven are very tasty.

Today's sky was quite bright. We have a gourd tree in our yard. The tip of that tree seems to touch the sky. I am very happy to see and take pictures. Also let me know how my photography skills are (hehe).

Then have lunch. Today's lunch item was fish. Hilsa fish is the national fish of our country. This fish has a wonderful smell and is also delicious to eat. Hilsa is a marine fish. My brother likes this fish fry a lot. He does not eat all fish but eats fried hilsa. This Hilsa was quite big. It was a hilsa fish weighing about one kilogram.

In the afternoon I go to a cousin's house in my village. I went and saw them collecting guava from the guava tree. Although there are many guavas on the guava tree, they are edible. They are happy to see me and talk. They let me eat two guavas when I returned home.

In the evening, my sister-in-law prepared a special recipe for us. The main ingredients here were puffed rice, onions, green chillies and carrots. Chop all the ingredients and mix them with oil. It was delicious to eat. You can try making it at home.
