Engagement Challange II | Steem Kindness Contest - How STEEM changed my life for the better life !
I'm @pixie.dust from Pakistan and I'm here to participate in the Steemit engagement challenge season 2. Here's a little introduction of mine. Achievement Post 1.
Steemit plays a very important role in my life because of a number of reasons and I was quite excited to participate in this contest because I've been given a chance to share how my life have been changed into a better one after being a part of the @Steemitblog and Steemit family.
I was introduced to Steemit by a very good friend of mine @event-horizon when one day she visited me and we shared where she was busy nowadays. I'd be forever thankful to her for this reason.
There are a number of positive changes that I've noticed in my life since I've started using Steemit. These positive changes can be seen in my personality, finances and all the major aspects of life. It has overall improved my life and I'll tell you how.
HOW STEEM CHANGED MY LIFE INTO A BETTER LIFE
I always appreciate those people who try to be financially stable rather than depending on others for their needs. No matter how small you earn, being able to afford small things and fulfill our small requirements give us confidence and a feeling of financially independent which is one of the most essential things to survive in the modern world.
Because of Steemit I received my first earning which was around 10 k and this first earning of mine meant a lot to me.
Steemit helped me to become a better version of myself and here I met a number of amazing people, whom I would love to meet in person as well. All these people are so supportive, kind and always ready to help. It's absolutely like a Steemit family.
Steemit has taught me how to be more kind and generous towards everyone and to take care of the less privileged people . After I started earning from the Steemit I decided to put some amount aside for the charitable purposes every month. Since then every month I make sure to spend some of the amount that I earn on the less privileged people. I'm took part in the charitable cause on the Steemit by dedicating some of my beneficiaries to @steemit kindness.
I wont be exaggerating when I'll tell you that Steemit helped me and improved my life too. It made me a better person. I absolutely feel a positive change in my personality as well.
It taught me how to be expressive and gave me a platform to share my thoughts and feelings as well. It helped me in earning and becoming financially stably. It taught me how to be kind and generous and help those in need. I learned how to make new friends and support them.
In Short Steem made my life a better life.

Getting financially stable for your little needs is such a proud feeling.
I still can think of the time before my job where even for 10rupee snack, i had to go to my father and ask him for some money. That's not bad too because he is my father but i started to hesitate because i had grown up. Then I started a job and balanced my needs with my earnings.
This is the best part of steemit where we can donate to charities all around the world.
Helping in communication and improving writing skills are the two main factors that I have improved through steemit.

Steemit no doubt must has impact on your life any how.
Yes we should appreciate all the people who are trying to do work at their own or living by their own.
My dear friend you have described it very well. Yeah we should not be dependent on others. You should definately appreciate those who are financially independent. We should maintain our repu when we grown up. Charities are good deeds. If you have just a penny you should also donate it if you think that it would be helpful for others.
