Today, September 1, is the anniversary of the invasion of Adolf Hitler's forces in Poland, it is the event that marks the beginning of World War II. Although it could be said that this #SecondWorldWar had been brewing since the signing of the Treaty of Versailles (1919), which imposed truly humiliating conditions on the German nation. It would be more understandable to point out as a direct antecedent the previous invasions that #Hitler had made to neighboring countries of #Germany, annexing their territories and population, partly using the reasoning that they had common roots as Germanic peoples or using the excuse that there were inhabitants who they were ethnic Germans who were being oppressed by the governments of those countries.
Either way, it is on this day that the invasion of #Poland begins, after having reached the agreement with the #USSR, through which #Nazi Germany shared the country it invaded with the Union of Republics Soviet Socialists of #Stanlin. Although Hitler's political party had the term National-Socialist in its denomination and the leftist government of the USSR was called socialist, in truth, apart from its autocratic and authoritarian tendencies, well, they had no greater affinity, the treatment of non-aggression (Molotov-Ribbentrop pact) they made was more of a way to buy time while they prepared their weapons to tear each other to pieces, as it eventually happened.
To all of these, the countries of #Western Europe and the emerging North American power turned their eyes elsewhere, partly because they tend towards isolationism, partly out of cowardice and consider that the cost of a war would not return them enough benefits to oppose to the invasions that this man had already made… I think that in part because of stupidity and stubborn and blind denial of not wanting to see reality: A man with extreme greed for power stops at nothing, nor does he care about the price to pay or what he must destroy, he will do whatever he deems necessary to satiate his incurable desire for power.

Hoy, 1 de septiembre, es aniversario de la invasión de las fuerzas de Adolf Hitler a Polonia, es el evento que marca el inicio de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Si bien se podría decir que esta #SegundaGuerraMundial se venía gestando desde la firma del Tratado de Versalles (1919), que impuso a la nación alemana unas condiciones verdaderamente humillantes, sería más comprensible señalar como antecedente directo las invasiones previas que #Hitler había hecho a países vecinos de #Alemania, anexando sus territorios y población, en parte usando el razonamiento de que tenían raíces comunes como pueblos germánicos o usando la escusa de que había habitantes que eran germanos étnicos que estaban siendo oprimidos por los gobiernos de esos países.
De la manera que fuera, es en este día que se inicia la invasión a #Polonia, luego de haber logrado el acuerdo con la #URSS, por medio de la cual la Alemania #Nazi se repartía el país que invadía con la Unión de Repúblicas Socialistas Soviéticas de #Stanlin. Si bien el partido político de Hitler tenía el término de Nacional-Socialista en su denominación y el gobierno de izquierda de la URSS se denominaba socialista, en verdad que fuera de sus tendencias autocráticas y autoritarias, pues, no tenían mayor afinidad, el trato de no agresión (pacto Mólotov-Ribbentrop) que hicieron fue más bien una manera de ganar tiempo mientras preparaban sus armas para hacerse pedazos mutuamente, tal como eventualmente sucedió.
A todas estas, los países de #Europa Occidental y la emergente potencia norteamericana hicieron su vista a otro lado, en parte por ser tendientes al aislacionismo, en parte por cobardía y considerar que el costo de una guerra no les retornaría suficientes beneficios como para oponerse a las invasiones que ya había hecho este hombre… Creo que en parte por estupidez y negación terca y ciega de no querer ver la realidad: Un hombre con extrema codicia del poder no se detiene ante nada, ni le importa el precio a pagar o lo que deba destruir, hará todo lo que crea necesario para saciar su incurable deseo de poder.
