These are my favorite animals!

When we went out for Monster Truck's birthday, we chose the Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO as a destination partially due to their live animals on display. Many fish like Alligator Gar, Spotted Gar, Longnose Gar, Striped Bass, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Crappie, Carp, Buffalo, Rainbow Trout, Bluegills, Catfish and others were swimming in large aquariums. Besides fish, there were Alligators, Newts, Turtles, and a Tiger Salamander. In these photos, we'll feature a couple of our little boys checking out the turtles.

We like outdoor stores like Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's, because they are almost like museums or zoos in some ways. So many stuffed animals and even live animals can be seen there. Sometimes, on cross-country drives we'll even pull in to use the bathroom and stretch our legs a bit. They are some amazing stores to do that in. Enjoy the turtle photos!
