The Diary Game | 04 December 2024 | Harvesting Homegrown Spinach, Market Errands, and Samosa Delights

Hello Everyone
I'm AhsanSharif From Pakistan
Greetings to you all, hope you all are well and enjoying a happy moment of life with steem. I'm also good Alhamdulillah.

I hope everyone is well and enjoying their lives. Our routine is the same every day, we wake up at dawn, pray, and do morning exercises. For a walk, I go out to the fields so that I can enjoy the cool air there and see the morning chirping of birds and the greenery to refresh my mind.

Then I returned home and had breakfast. After breakfast, I was just sitting down when I thought, why don't we cut the spinach that is in our house today? Because I planted it here a long time ago, today, Masha Allah, it has grown quite a bit and now we will cut it and cook it.

The pot I planted them in was full of spinach, so I thought I'd cut it off because once we cut it off, it grows back at a faster rate, so I took a knife and cut it from the top.

After doing this, I have watered it again so that it grows well again. We do not need to add any fertilizer to it because it is already growing well. We just need to make sure that our soil is fertile and we need to water it regularly. Then it will grow well. If we add urea or other fertilizers to it, even a small amount of it can kill it. I tried it once, but the reason was that I added a little too much, which caused everything to burn.

I had chopped this spinach. Now my mother said that if we cook it, it is a little less, why not add fenugreek to it? I said, okay, no problem. The fenugreek we have at home is still small, so I thought that I would bring it from the vegetable shop and give it to us as soon as ours grows. Then we will cook it at home ourselves. So I went straight to the vegetable shop and from there I brought a bunch of fenugreek and then my mother mixed the fenugreek with the spinach and cooked it.

I had some work to do in the market, so I thought that I would go to the market to get all the household items. From there, I went straight to the Harappa Station Market near me. After going there, I first went to the mobile shop because I wanted to see a hands-free from there. My friend has a shop there, I saw that hands-free and bought it from there and went straight to the bank. I had to get my mother's checkbook from the bank, so as soon as I reached there, they said that it would take some time for me to come here, and come back later. I then thought that I would get it the next day, so I left there and returned.

Then from there,e I went straight to the grocery market. From there I had to buy two or three things for the house, which only included ghee etc., so I bought those things from there and then moved to another shop.

I went to another shop, a wholesale shop, and from there I had to buy some beauty products, including our oil, lotion, cream, hair color, etc. So I went there, gave them a list of all my things and got those things from there. The bill for all these things came to around Rs. 1500 and after paying the bill, I finally returned home.

While returning home, I thought, "Why don't we eat from here, it's already noon. Ali Bhai's samosa is very famous here, so I went straight to his shop, sat there, ordered a plate of samosa, and enjoyed it."

In Liquid, I thought I would drink rubber milk, which is made from a mixture of almonds, pistachios, walnuts, and nuts, and it is very delicious. The Jannat Rubber Milk Company here is also famous, so I stopped by and drank a glass of milk from there.

Then I headed straight for my house. When I got home, I gave my family all their belongings and we sat and chatted for a while.

In the evening I went to my tailor because a few days ago I had given him my suits so that he could sew them. Some were my suits and some were my father's. Now the time he had given me had expired. Hopefully, he would have sewn them. So I went to his job and asked him for my suits.

I was very happy to hear his answer, "Yes." Then he gave me all my suits, about seven of them, and I paid him for them, and he brought them home with him.

This is how I completed my activities for today. I hope you all enjoyed it. Thank you very much for stopping by. I will see you in a new content on a new day. Until then, I ask for your permission. May Allah protect you.

I love the idea of growing your food at home. Not only does it save cost, but it also helps maintain a healthy body.

We have so many processed foods out there. Nutritionists say they contribute to a wide range of illnesses starting from diabetes to high cholesterol which affects the heart.

Some of these illnesses make me cringe.

They recommend that we eat more whole foods like the spinach you planted in your garden, etc.

I enjoyed reading your diary. Now I've learnt about the effect of using a little more urea.

Thank you so much for staying here. Im glad you like and enjoy here. I try my best to present more valuable content. Wish you more success.

It was great to see the summary of your work throughout the day and how you spent the whole day doing various types of shopping and cutting spinach at home. If such vegetables are planted at home, we can definitely eat healthy and nutritious vegetables which are much more nutritious for our family members and ourselves because we get many formalin-containing vegetables in the market.

I agree with you. Thanks for staying here. Wish you more success.

Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
