Newcomers community curator application: March

A big thank you to the steemit team for another beautiful opportunity to apply to serve under the newcomers team.

Our team is made up of five persons from different countries coming together to work as one to support the newcomers community between 1-3months old on the platform.

Without much ado, we must see to do our due diligence to see that we do not only stop at voting the new comers but we must do all that’s within our power to guide them to abide by the rules of the community and also ensure that their accounts are verified for authenticity and hence fish out fake and duplicate accounts and users who seek to exploit the system and also guide them.

This is @drhira, joined Steemit platform on May 2021, its about 4 years have completed successfully. Though interaction with different friends and family I was able to overcome all the challenges which I had faced when I was newcomer.

Since the time I have joined Steemit platform I am working actively without any power down history, hence sharing my daily diary, participation in contests and also in challenges its awesome experience; I am in love when I interact and engaged with my friends posts. I have selected once for steemcurator02 in November, 2024. Currently I am working in newcomer curator team for February, I will continue my work with consistency and passion.

My name is Marvin Velasquez, I'm from Venezuela, and I'm a retired police officer. I worked for 16 years, during this period I worked as a physical trainer and military instructor, and decided to leave the force to pursue other things, including a quieter life. I speak Spanish as my native language, with knowledge of English, Italian, and Portuguese.
I joined Steemit in 2021, and since then I've dedicated myself to supporting all the initiatives proposed on the platform. I've held several positions within communities and initiatives that have helped me understand how it works and the proper use of the available resources. These positions include: Moderator in Recreative Steem Community, Moderator in Steem Venezuela Community, Moderator in Comunidad Latina (At the moment), Teacher in season 22 of the Steemit Engagement Challenge, Video Watcher and collaborator on the project Speak on Steem (At the moment), and Curator with the Booming 03 account for four periods.

I am @tammanna, on this renowned platform, Steemit, I started my journey in July 2023. And my reputation is now 76.
I’ve worked in many communities and also been verified there. Through my various posts, I have brought out many creative sides of mine, like cooking, drawing, crafting, blogging, and creative writing. Alhamdulillah, I’ve got a lot of support and encouragement from this platform, which always motivates me, and I have come this far successfully.October December and February were the three best months of my life. During those months, I worked as a curator for new comers and reviewed them from different perspectives. It was the best time I have ever spent and I am eager to have that opportunity again. How we intend to work

With our experience as newcomers curators previously, we would be bringing our experience into play as we help the newcomers have better experience as we will give them the correct guidance they need to make their experience beautiful. In this month’s curation we will guide newcomers on how to improve the quality of their posts and also heed the rules and regulations of the platform.

We are also going to be looking out for fake and duplicate accounts that will be out to exploit the community and ensure they are fished out. We will only provide support to genuine newcomers who are abiding to the rules of the community.

Our team members have featured in new comers curation team at one time or the other in recent times, there forever we are experienced on what it required of us. We will ensure that their profiles are well scrutinized and provide them with the necessary guidance they require so as to help them improve their stay in the system.

Since our team already have experience with new comers curation, and use of tools to make our work proficient, with helping us verifier users and how authentic they are.

We will use the tools at our disposal to fish out duplicate accounts and fake accounts and platform abusers and also for checking for plagiarism, and AI contents.

These guidance will proffer solutions to their challenges as We will also let them know the importance of building their reputation. and interacting with others in the community.
