Thedirarygame : After a Long Day of Hospital Duty and Fasting, I Ended My Evening with Iftar at Home and a Happy Walk in the Market with My Son
Greetings of the day,
This is @alfazmalek from #India,
Today was a meaningful and busy day for me. My morning started quite early because these days I am observing the fast during the holy month of Ramadan. After waking up before sunrise and finishing my meal for the fast, I got ready for my hospital duty. As a healthcare worker, reaching the hospital on time is always very important because many patients depend on us for their treatment and care. When I arrived at the hospital, the day had already begun with several patients waiting for their checkups and treatments. I spent the morning attending to different patients, helping with their treatment, and ensuring they were comfortable. Working in a hospital requires patience and focus, and even while fasting, I tried my best to give proper attention and care to every patient who needed help.
Throughout the day, the hospital remained quite busy. Some patients needed routine care, while others required more attention and monitoring. Even though I was fasting, I did not feel tired because when you are dedicated to your work, the time passes quickly. The atmosphere in the hospital was serious but also cooperative because all the staff members were working together to manage the workload. Treating patients and seeing them feel better always brings satisfaction, and that feeling makes the day worthwhile. By the afternoon, most of the important tasks had been completed, and I continued with my duties until the end of my shift. Observing the fast while working in a hospital can sometimes be challenging, but it also teaches patience, discipline, and gratitude.

In the evening, after finishing my duty, I returned home feeling a little tired but also happy that the day went well. As the time for iftar approached, everyone at home started preparing for the meal to break the fast. Finally, when the time came, we all sat together and opened our fast with delicious food and drinks. After fasting the whole day, the first sip of water always feels refreshing and rewarding. Spending this moment with family makes it even more special. We talked about our day while enjoying the iftar meal, and the peaceful atmosphere at home made me forget the tiredness of the day.

Later at night, I decided to go out for a short walk with my son. Walking together after dinner is something we both enjoy because it gives us time to talk and relax. We went to the nearby market where there were many small shops and lights everywhere.

My son became very excited when he saw different toys being sold in the shops. Like most children, he insisted on buying a toy and kept asking me again and again. Seeing his excitement and happiness, I could not refuse him, so I finally bought a toy for him. The smile on his face after getting the toy made the whole evening special for me.

After spending some time in the market, we slowly walked back home. It was a simple moment, but these small experiences with family are what make life beautiful. At the end of the day, I felt grateful for everything: the opportunity to serve patients at the hospital, the strength to complete my fast, and the happiness of spending time with my family. Days like this remind me that even a busy routine can be filled with meaningful and joyful moments.
THANK YOU
