I think this is the most stable insect I made a video and picture of without it moving quickly like other insects I captured a few weeks back. You can always catch an unfresh flesh fly when it's hovering around a decaying fruit. You can easily kill it because it has this detachable connection with the decay or decomposing matter.

I captured it when it was perching on a spoiled, ripe soursop fruit that's decaying. I made sure I bent down to give it clarity because the fruit was on the floor. These are the angles I took. Flesh flies are different from house flies by their size and enchanting color. I used the 2x zoom on my phone to make this video clear and bright in sunlight.

After capturing this fly on the decayed fruit, I captured another flesh fly who was done eating the spoiled fruit and was rotating around a block, tired. Unlike the flesh fly's sensations, it was just too weak to move even when I got close to it.

In Venezuela, we know of an African fly called the "set set fly." This is the fly you're showing us today. An insect that's often rejected, yet plays a vital role in pollination.

Your photos are amazing. The colors are vibrant. The close-up is impressive because you can see all the details. I loved it! 👍🏽😍🤩

Thank you for liking my creative pictures and photography techniques. You made me remember how we used to call it when we were children before we grew up to know it's tsetse fly.

We usually chase and kill it back then

Wow! You are really good in capturing with your camera. The photo of the insect looks so attractive and eye catching. Now I'm aware that there are two different kinds of flies through your article today. I only knew about one of them which is the house flies but now I've learnt something new.

Thanks and good to know you now have the knowledge

You are welcome

Guau! Esta mosca se ve bastante clara. Se le pueden ver pelos y nervaduras en las alas. Buen trabajo.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate
