It is a new week and a new year, and what better way to celebrate than by sharing the outfit that made me feel most confident!

My favorite outfit for this week is my formal Sunday attire. As we are just at the beginning of the year, I haven't attended many social events yet, but my Sunday service provided the perfect opportunity to dress my best.

The outfit consists of:

A Grey Houndstooth Blazer: This is the centerpiece. It has a classic micro-check pattern that adds texture and elegance.

White Dress Shirt: A crisp, clean base that makes the rest of the outfit pop.

Black Slim-fit Tie: To keep the look professional and sharp.

Black Trousers & Dress Shoes: I paired the blazer with well-fitted black trousers and polished loafers to complete the "gentleman" aesthetic.

Why do you like this outfit?

I love this outfit because it strikes the perfect balance between classic and modern. The houndstooth pattern is timeless, but the slim cut of the suit makes it look very contemporary. When I wear this, I feel responsible, confident, and ready for the blessings of the new year. It’s a "power outfit" that commands respect while still being comfortable enough for a long church service.

I acquired this outfit from a well-known boutique in my local city area, at Ari aria international market. I prefer shopping at boutiques where I can try on the pieces to ensure the fit is perfect. The blazer was a special find during my end-of-year shopping trip, as I wanted something unique to wear for the first Sundays of 2026, so I saw an image of this outfit there so I grab the posture and style.
