Prove yourself as the best artist for the week

Hello steemians

Happy new week to you all, I hope y'all are having a splendid day....b'cause I'm really have a wonderful day here even though the weather seems so hot, I can still serve you a cool piece of my sketch work.

Well for today I would be drawing my church member, I just had to do drawings of random people so I thought of drawing him since my eye could catch his photo first in my gallery.

MATERIALS

Pencil
Eraser
Sharpener
Paper.

PROCEDURE

STEP1:

First I started off by by drawing an oval shape with a curved line one it above and below slightly closed to the shape, after that I drew a circle inside of the oval shape to make the eye, then I drew a curved line which would be the eye lid.....so I continued by drawing the nose which consisted of curved lines looking like a w-shape. Then I drew the left eye by following the same process as the right eye.

STEP2:

After that a curvy shape below the nose which would be the top lip after that I drew the lower lip at that point I drew a curved line and a structure ejecting outward the left that would be his knuckles....after that I drew a curved line from the eye down to the where the knuckle was.

STEP3:

Then I drew the thumb, with the fingernail, then I completed the remaining hand, then I drew the watch he wore as well designing it would take carefulness.

STEP4:

Then I began to draw the fore head by drawing a curved line from the eye upwards, then I drew the hair which were on his head like curved spiky line reaching down to the ear, then I drew the neck and the collar of the cloth he wore and drew the lines to make it realistic.

STEP5:

After all that I started coloring it so that it would look realistic as the real picture....well I hope it went well.

What a wonderful contest this is. Always glad I could do something on this platform by sharing my talent....
