The Diary Game: School Choir Rehearsal, Lunch And Shopping At Night [26/03/2026]

Hello everyone, it's your's truly @envyalbert , and I want to share with the community how my day went. Today, I got up from the bed at early hours of the morning, did the house chores and left later on to school.

The school I teach was selected to participate in a nation wide choral competition which will be taken place at the country's capital, Abuja on the last Saturday of next month. So for two weeks now, I have been training the participants of the contest, and it has never been easy because of the nature of the competition.

At first, a lot of students showed interest to join the choral competition, but as time went on ,a lot of them couldn't pass the mock competition and as such screened off till I was able to get a few of the students who passed the mock competition. I decided to continue with the few and I must say it has been a splendid experience and the outcome of their performance has been positive. We rehearsed just two songs which will be performed at the country's capital, Abuja.

The rehearsal was now over, so I dismissed the students to continue tomorrow, then went home and rested for a while. Later on, I decided to prepare rice with beans and stew for lunch. It took about fourty five minutes to get the meal prepared,and afterwards I dished it out and ate.

At around 5:30pm, I dressed up to buy some things from a far away shop for myself. So when I got to the shop I asked for the price of standing fan and it was on the high side, then I bargained with him to a favourable price which he agreed, of course, I bought a brand new standing fan for myself and I'm so excited.

Thereafter I told the seller to fix the fan so that I can carry it home, then he did it and I boarded a taxi which took me to my house. I arrived home with my new fan and my neighbours were also happy with me, though I don't care if any is angry at me. When I entered my house, I had to plug it and it was working.
