My favorite outfit this week is actually a casual dress, which I wore to attend a get-together party. It was a sudden dressing idea I found on the internet, and I decided to adopt it into my dressing. The combination can be said to be wearing a white t-shirt under a checkered shirt and leaving the buttons loose while wearing a matching color of trousers or jeans, preferably. Below is a photo of the outfit.

I like this outfit because it fits into the modern type of dressing worn in the 21st century. The checkered shirt was a type of shirt worn in the late 90s. It was almost out of existence and now has resurfaced in the world around 2020 in Nigeria. Checkered shirts are usually valued here because they are very expensive and are known for making matching outfits.
Another reason I like checkered shirts is because they strike a balance between hot and cold weather. If the weather is cold, one can wear the shirt to reduce the impact of cold on the body, and if the weather is hot, one can remove the checkered shirt and go with just the white t-shirt to reduce the intensity of heat on his body.

I got this outfit from a thrift store at the Four Lanes traffic light, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The store is a boutique where they sell assorted clothes of different styles and types. The store is located close to the road and is eye-catching and attractive to passersby.
It is a well-known place for thrift shirts.

The outfit is actually an expensive one. Then the checkered shirt was bought at $8.77, which is ₦12,000. When this is converted to STEEM, it is about 160.302 STEEM.
The jeans were bought at $10.96, which is equivalent to ₦15000 when converted to my country's currency. Converting this to steem is about 200.332 STEEM.
The white t-shirt was given to me by a friend to celebrate our friendship anniversary. So all in all, I wore it in memory of my friend who passed away two years ago this month.
