Prove that you are the best artist for this week
Good day everyone, I am pleased to be a part of this contest organized by @dequeen the drawing before you is my participation art piece created by me. This was just a random sketch done on paper, I was able to achieve this drawing using my charcoal pencil and crayon pencils.

In this drawing I brought in a concept by adding the steemit writeup on my subjects hat, which I find very conceptual. My choice of color also for the writing is base on the color used on steemit.
Process
My first stage was done using faint lines to get the shape of the face of my subject
I started by adding the brown color to the face of my subject to bring out the color tone of the face
I proceeded towards painting the hat and coloring the steemit writeup.

Your drawings look really nice, especially the way you started the sketch with light lines and then slowly added colors, the process feels very natural. The shades and color tones of the faces are quite good and the use of crayons with charcoal is also well done, while steemit's creative touch on the hat shows your thinking. Overall your hard work is evident.
