Good day my fellow beloved steemians hope you all doing well, I bring to you this wonderful contest from steem fashion&style and use time to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of @ashkhan for organizing this amazing contest #shockingmoments.

The story started with I and my friend called Philip, Philip is a close and good friend of mine, which I trust and respect because of his good attitude and character, so one day he say we should go fetch firewood together which I accepted and followed him,on our way going he started telling me about sugar cane that when we are coming back from the fetching the fire wood we will branch and cut some of it, I was surprised because had never to me they have a sugar cane farm so I ask him do you own a sugar cane farm and responded saying no, I now ask him where are cutting the sugar cane from, he said they is one woman that own a sugar cane farm but she have abandoned it due the stress and time she doesn't have so grass have occupied the farm so we should go and cut some of it, after some long argument he finally persuaded me and I followed him, moreover I love sugar cane so much.

When we got to the entrance of the farm he brought out money from his pocket I think that was 100 naira note and he said we should hold it Incase somebody is in the farm we should just pretend as if we want to buy, when we entered the farm he shouted good afternoon ma like 3 times and nobody answered he quickly said we should enter and cut the one we need so when we entered we are almost done cutting when we head a voice behind us stop there i was shock because I never expected any body so Philip wanted running his shoe got trapped in the moody area of the farm so that's when the woman have access to get us, she started by saying everyday for the thief one day for owner I was more shocked and afraid when I heard that.we begged and begged for forgiveness but the woman continue saying that she going to report us to police station for stealing her farm products, I started shivering like a chicken beaten by rain, all that was is in my mind was what am I going to tell my parent,neigbours, friends, class mate that I went to steal and I was caught and locked up in the police cell, as all this was going through my mind, what I heard next from the woman was that I will forgive on one condition which is only if you tell me the people we usually come with to cut her sugar cane she suffer daily to maintain.

In no hesitation I quickly said ma it my first time, she said I should keep quiet that's what thief's usually say if they are caught, suddenly Philip started mentioning the names of people he usually come with and I was shock to hear this from my own good friend mouth I was just confused like a drunkard.after everything I thank God that every thing was settled and we were forgiven.i learn a lesson from this that it is not every thing you should involve your self at times try by separating your self from small issues that will lead to big one.
