My favorite outfit this week was the silk saree and accessories I wore yesterday because this is our traditional dress. At the same time, there are many types of sarees. Their thread, price, type of fabric, its origin and design vary. In this way, this is a handloom silk saree woven with silk thread. It is one of the most expensive types.

Also, yesterday the festival of "Karthigai Deepam" was celebrated here. That festival is when the women of the house light a lamp in the house and light lamps around the house. At that time, it is our custom to wear such traditional clothes.

Generally, when wearing silk sarees, it is customary to wear gold or diamond jewellery to match it, so I have worn gold jewellery like a necklace, aram, bangles and a jimmyki with it.

Why do you like this outfit?

I like to wear sree because saree is a glamorous, yet dignified, status-defining, artistic piece of clothing! It helps keep the body fresh and ger proper airflow. Especially since a saree is a soft garment, it is very good for the soft body and skin of women and does not cause any harm. Wearing a saree attracts a lot of attention and at the same time, it also boosts our confidence level. When wearing a saree, even though some parts of the body are exposed, the parts that need to be covered are properly covered, so even though it is attractive, it is not obscene.

Some people think that women wearing saris look sexy, but it depends on the way they wear them. Some wear them below the navel, some wear them in a way that shows their cleavage. Some wear transparent saris, exposing their cleavage. It depends on their mindset.

There are many benefits to a saree. During the sunny days, you can take off the front of the saree and wrap it around your head to give you shadow. At the same time in gold weather you can wrap around your arms and head to save you from cold, even you can give your kids as shelter while cold weather or showering rain.

I bought this saree from "The Chennai Silks", a famous textile shop in our town. This is a very famous shopping mall for textiles. There are two malls in our Coimbatore city. I went to the shopping mall on Crosscut Road in Coimbatore. There is a floor for sarees and a floor for silk sarees. Many collections are kept in it. They are kept separately according to the price.
