Prove yourself as the best artist for the week

Today I'm giving my entry in this beautiful contest of Week 62. I've been fond of drawing since childhood, and whenever I get free moment, I sit down with a pencil and paper. This time I've made a beautiful bird sitting on a branch.

What did I do and why?

I've made a beautiful bird with a short crest on its head. I love birds because they emblematize independence, enchantress and peace. When I hear the birds chittering beforehand in the morning, my heart feels strangely calm, this is the feeling I've tried to convey in my delineations.

Drawing Steps( Step by Step)

In this picture you can endure that I've also participated a picture of each stage of my sketch and in the start I wrote my username @motammald76 and the date24-02-2026 on my delineation runner to completely follow the rules of the competition.

First I sketched the bird head and beak with a light pencil.

After that, form the eye and outline the upper part of the head.

Then I slowly completed the figure of the neck and body.

The coming step is to shape the wings and add particulars through lines.

Then he made the tail wings and made the nethermost paws and the branch on which the bird is sitting.

Eventually I did beguiling shading to form the image appear more natural and beautiful.

How long did it take and how did it feel?

It grasped me about 1 hour and 20 minutes to finalize this sketch. It perceived a short touchy in the beginning but as the picture was finalized, my self-confidence also expanded. When I eventually saw the comprehensive picture, my heart was filled with joy. I sensed proud of my hard work.

I picked up the inspiration for this sketch from self, especially from the birds sitting in the trees near our house.
