Prove Yourself is the best artist for the week

Today I'm participating another beautiful work of my art with you all. This moment I've formed a sketch of a butterfly which is a logo of independence, stunner and gentleness. I'm veritably inclined of nature and this love encouraged me to form this picture.

What did I draw?

I've tried to attain a flying butterfly on paper. At first just outlined it simple, then refined the form of its wings and eventually added beautiful design and shading. This butterfly reminds me of the self-determination and bliss of life.

Drawing Steps:

First, I wrote my username and date on my paper to meet the contest rules.

Then I lightly sketched the body of the butterfly.

I then shaped her wings and balanced them.

Then I added small designs and dots inside the wings.

I then embellished the wings with finer lines.

Finally I did shading to give the image a sense of depth and realism.

Time and Feelings:

It held me about 50 minutes to finalize this sketch. I was feeling so comfortable and happy while I was forming it. With each line it perceived like I was convincing my thought to life on paper. After completion I felt delighted with my hard work.

Inspiration:

I got this idea while watching the butterflies flying in the garden. Their color and light flight inspired me and I thought why not capture this beauty in my drawings.
