Contest 38 | My Favourite Outfit This Week
Hello, Steemians. It's another week to show you guys my favorite outfit of the week. It was Sunday, and as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I wore this outfit to our Christian meetings.
It was a black palazzo pant, which I paired with a beautiful blouse made with a vintage material. The vintage material has black and brown colors, so I tried to match my bag and shoes with both colors. I wore black shoes and used a brown bag to complement both the black-colored pants and the blouse. I had no makeup on since I'm not really a fan of makeup. And that was it.
Why do you like this outfit? |
|---|
Everyone who knows what a palazzo pant is knows how comfortable it is when you wear one. The pants were very comfortable and modest. The top was not tight-fitting. It was moderate and suited my body type. I loved how comfortable I was in it.
Where did you get this outfit?? Tell me about the location. |
|---|
I got the pants from a local market in my location. I live in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. There's a local market called Urua Nka. Foodstuffs are mostly sold in this particular market, but then if you move inside, there are some business owners who sell clothes. So I bought from one of the vendors at a fair price. My top was made by a seamstress in the compound I live in. I got the material from a vendor at Liverpool Road, Eket.
Eket is a developing town in Akwa Ibom State. People know it as the oil and gas town, and that is because many people who work for Exxon Mobil, an oil and gas company reside in Eket. There are a number of markets known here, like Urua Nka and Urua Offing Etuk. There are times I buy from the latter, but this time I bought from Urua Nka.
What is the value of this outfit? Show us its value in your country's currency and in Steem currency. |
|---|
I got my pants for 4500 naira (32.6 Steems) and my blouse for 6000 naira (43.5 Steems). I bought the vintage material for 4000 naira, 2000 naira for a yard. I bought two yards for 4000 naira, and it was made for 2000 naira. I bought my shoes for 20,000 naira (144 Steems) and my bag for 5,000 naira (36 Steems). The total value of my outfit is 35,500 naira, which is 257 Steems.
