The Lifestyle Diary Game - 22.04.2024 : Three-day Heat Alert For Intense Heat
Dear Diary,
Although Bangladesh is a temperate country, it is currently very hot in our country. The temperature has gone up more than normal so our normal public life is being disrupted. After waking up in the morning I complete my regular activities. Today my elder sister will come to our house so I have made some preparations for her. Trying to go out less this summer but I have to go out to buy some medicine. So I got ready and went out. First I go to a pharmacy and purchase some medicine for myself from there. I bought two medicines here and it cost me about 435 BDT or about 12 STEEM.
My sister asked me to buy onion and garlic while going out. I have never bought onion and garlic before. Today I go to buy onion and garlic for the first time. Then I asked the shopkeeper the price of the products and they told me that onion is 55 bdt or about 2 steem per kg and garlic is 170 bdt or about 5 steem per kg. I buy 2 kg onion and half kg garlic from him.
Since it was very hot outside, I went to an ice cream shop to buy ice cream. This store does not have the ice cream I like to eat. So I went to the store next to this store and searched and couldn't find ice cream there either. Since I don't have my favorite ice cream, I buy lemon flavored ice cream called Ice lolly and each ice cream costs 20 bdt or 0.8 steem. This ice cream was not very tasty but I enjoyed it when I came home from the hot sun.
In the afternoon when the weather outside calms down, I go to my nephew's coaching center to pick him up. The coaching center is near from home and I have to wait there for a while as I leave early. While waiting I saw some posters on the coaching wall and one theme of that poster struck me as very nice. So I took a picture of it to share with you. On the occasion of Teacher's Day, it is a grand celebration to show how much teachers contribute to the upliftment of a student. I quite liked it.
After evening I take watermelon and light breakfast. Watermelon is my favorite fruit and nowadays watermelon contains 90% water to buy a fruit which is very beneficial for health. Due to the summer, our body needs water, so we all should eat watermelon to fill that water deficit. Along with watermelon there were two other snacks which are Patis and Moghlai. These two dishes are also my favorites. As I mentioned earlier today my elder sister is coming to our house and her kids love moghlai and pettis so these are bought for them.
