What's your favorite outfit this week? Describe it by sharing its photos.

My favorite outfit for this week is a stylish blue dress, which has a textured checkered front panel in lighter shades of blue, contrasted with a solid blue fabric on the sides and back, creating a two-in-one effect on the dress. The dress has short and puffy sleeves that add a lot of femininity to my overall look; a prominent blue bow is tied at the waist of my outfit, serving as a decorative accent that breaks the simplicity of the dress. The dress falls just above my knees. I wore a black wristwatch and a black bag to complement the dress, and my legwear is black sneakers, which adds contrast to my blue dress and a casual yet refined touch to my appearance.

Why do you like this outfit?

I love this outfit because it is free on my body. I can literally do anything I want to do with this dress. Even if I want to jump, dance, swat, or move, etc., I can easily do it without stress because it is not tight on me. If I'm in a hurry to go somewhere, I would likely take this dress as a choice because I won't struggle to wear it, and I would walk faster to where I'm going. Most importantly, since the clothes are not tight on me, they allow a lot of air to pass into my skin to keep me dry, especially when I'm sweating. I love it because it is easy to wear and easy to pull out, and I can wear it anywhere I like because it matches with all the events I go to, be it church or going out with friends and vice versa. This dress makes me look smart and flexible.

I got this dress from my sister and my tailor, who resides in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Actually this dress is a combination of two native materials. I got the plain blue material from my sister, but when I took it to my tailor to sew, she thought it was wise to add another blue material with a design to it so that it would look more mature and attractive instead of being plain all through. And her decision wasn't bad after all.
