What did I do and why?
This time I have created a wild bird which looks very attractive due to its unique beak and thick feathers. I love nature scenes and birds because they symbolize freedom and beauty. The beak of this bird particularly impresses me because it makes it different from the others. I tried to bring out the life in her eyes and the natural look in her wings.
✅ Drawing steps (Step by Step)
In the picture you can see that I entered my username @taaher1 and the date 24-02-2026 on my drawing page at the beginning to fully follow the contest rules.
First I sketched the beak and head with a light hand.
Then shading around the eyes and head so that facial expressions are clear.
Then I completed the outline of the neck and body.
In the next step, create the arrangement of the wings and add fine lines to them one by one to create a sense of reality.
After that, make a long tail and add claws.
Finally I created the tree branch on which the bird is sitting and completed the image with light shading.
At each step I worked patiently and precisely to form the image fair and balanced.
How long did it take and how did it feel?
This delineation held about 1 hour and 40 minutes to complete. Creating the beak structure was a bit problematic at first, but with continuous practice that step came easy as well. When the picture was finished, I felt veritably happy and delighted. It felt like my hard work had paid off.
✅ motivation
The inspiration for this sketch came from watching a talkie about colorful wild birds. From there I got the idea to try to form a unique bird.
