Drawing of a markhor skull
The markhor also known as the screw-horned goat
is the largest species of wild goat. It has big spiral horns, and it is the national animal of Pakistan.
This animal is classified as a master climber, easily scaling and jumping across steep, rocky ledges to escape formidable predators, such as the snow leopard.
Markhors are snake eaters and can be found in the mountainous regions of Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. Below are the details of my drawing.
Materials for the drawing
- White embossed paper
- 10B pencil

- 2B pencill
- HB pencil

Step 5
At this point, I began shading the skull, starting with the horn, and then shaded the mouth using a 10B and 6B pencil. I also traced some parts of the skull with a 3B pencil to make it look dark.
Step 6
Here, I shaded the eye and nose socket using a 6B and 2B pencil.
Step 7
I shaded the remaining parts of the skull using an HB and 2B pencil. I also blended it with a brush.
