My Appreciation post (Winner VOS-25)

It feels wonderful to be heard, to feel your spirit soar and your hearts afloat, not with strong wine but with the power of music!

We won guys! yes you heard me right, we won, this is to everyone who supported me, I came out as the winner of the Voice of Steemit 25, I think this appreciation post is long overdue, and I'm sorry, I was supposed to thank you all earlier, but some things came up, but I'm here now, and I'm so grateful, thank you for supporting me and voting for me, it wasn't easy but you all had my back, special thanks goes to @bossj23 I can't seem to thank him enough, he really did amazingly well, thank you to the sponsors, I received my award with so much happiness, and to my fellow contestants, it was a privilege working with each and every one of you, I really learnt a lot from you, you guys are the best, now let me take down memory lane, fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a wonderful ride.

THE BLINDS STAGE

I kind of was uncertain about this stage, when I made my first entry video, I sang You say by Lauren diagle, I didn't have much confidence, someone even pointed out that I didn't look at the camera, I guess I was shy, but I made it pass that stage and I'm grateful.

THE JUDGES STAGE

At this stage, I was scared, who are the judges? How's the judging going to be? Too many questions went through my mind, I sang fly me to the moon by Sia, and I must say it was fine, the judges judged with impartiality and Wisdom, and I made it through.

THEATRE WEEK

Oh! I tried to be creative here, to tell the story of freedom from slavery, how the blacks finally broke free from Slavery, it was fun recording Stand up by Cynthia Erivo.

BATTLE STAGE

Fun, fun, fun, that was what this stage was, it was fun singing along side @nsijoro, we did a lot of vocal training before singing and we had fun too.

BILINGUAL STAGE

I remember being asked what stage was the most difficult for me, this stage was the most difficult, learning a new language in a few days wasn't easy but it was worth it, because I learnt and loved Spanish. I sang Despacito for this stage.

THE FINALS

The song I sang for this stage was not planned, I just happened to sing and have fun while singing encouraging any one that came across the video to rise up, yes I sang Rise up by Andrea for this stage.
