I have gained a lot of knowledge from a beautiful case study given by ma'am. I will answer the 3 questions given by ma'am properly, I hope everyone will like it.

You have to find a case study like I have shared, then confirm the diagnosis of the disease, and then add 3 to 4 causes.

🟧Case Study:

A 42-year-old marketing manager presented a history of heel pain. When he woke up in the morning and walked on the floor, he felt pain and tightness under his feet. However, the pain subsided after a few minutes of walking. This problem is more common after walking or standing for a long time. After taking a rest for some time, the pain is relieved. If the pain is severe, the feet swell, and then the swelling and pain in the feet are relieved by taking medicine or physiotherapy. Also, he has to stand or walk for a long time for marketing. However, he is a little overweight, so his body weight is more than normal, and the pain spreads from the foot to the arch of the foot.

🟦 Diagnosis:

After taking a complete history of a 42-year-old marketing manager and observing the pain under the patient's foot practically and performing a physical examination, we confirmed that he had been suffering from plantar fasciitis for a long time. Plantar fascia is a thick nerve fiber band or tissue on the sole. It extends from the heel to the toes, and its main function is to support the arch of the foot and evenly distribute the weight of the body while walking. However, since the affected person worked in marketing, he had to walk for a long time and had to stand in one place. Due to excessive walking, he had to change many shoes, and the size of the shoes was not correct for his feet.

🟧Reason:

  • Standing or walking for a long time causes pain in the feet and tightness in the bottom of the feet. This causes tightness and pain under the feet when you walk after waking up in the morning, resulting in a burning sensation under the feet.

  • This happens because the shoe size is not correct or the shoes are too tight.

  • This problem usually occurs after the age of 40-50.

  • This problem is caused by being relatively overweight.

You have to share symptoms of your patient history and confirm that diagnoses of the given cases study.

Symptoms from history.

  • Every morning when he woke up and walked with his feet on the floor, he could not put his feet on the floor properly, which caused a lot of pain under his feet and a feeling of tightness under his feet.

  • If the pain is severe, the pain is relieved after taking rest for some time.

  • Pain occurs due to standing or sitting for a long time, even when taking a few steps; there is tension right in the middle under his feet.

  • As a result of the pain, the feet appear swollen, and the bottom of the feet becomes red.

  • As a result of the pain, the pain spreads from the feet to the arches of the feet.

Diagnosis:

  • After measuring the body weight of the affected person, we see that he is generally relatively overweight.

  • We confirm this by pressing on the heel of the foot.

  • After waking up, there is more pain and tightness. Share it with us.

  • Tension is felt by pulling the toes.

  • Even if the pain decreases after taking medicine, the pain returns after a few days.

You have to find the best protocol any disease that can be cured with physiotherapy and then perform the exercises of your specific task. It would be better to perform the exercises and share videos or pictures while performing and then review after getting treatment.

Physiotherapy is a good treatment method; it has no side effects, but no medicine is required for it. I will show 3 physiotherapy uses for plantar fasciitis below.

1000065213.jpg

  • Ice therapy:

Any pain is quickly relieved due to ice therapy. First, I take some ice and put it in a cotton cloth so that the ice does not touch directly; it is harmful if applied directly. Then I put it under my foot and apply ice there, doing this twice a day for about 10 minutes, and the pain quickly reduces.

  • Towel Crunch:

To do this, you need a towel, keep your legs straight on the floor and wrap the towel between your toes and pull it towards you, and due to this, there will be tension under the heel, which will eliminate the pain. You have to pull it towards you for about 1 minute and do this 5-6 times a day.

  • Rolling:

Doing this not only reduces the pain but also feel comfortable, like a small soft ball. You have to place it under the heel and move it back and forth, but the ball, foot and floor should all be in contact. This exercise should be done for 5-6 minutes.I have shown it in the video below.

Task 1 (1.5/2.5)You have shared a great knowledge about the case study, sharing the diagnosis and causes of the disease. But you misunderstood somehow, you have to share another disease case study not the same disease case study. It would be better understand the task and then answer it.
Task 2 (1.5/1.5)You shared the right symptoms of patient that lead to final diagnosis of plantar fasciitis, you also perform few tests to confirm the diagnosis but it would be better to share a x-ray or something like that, that confirm the diagnosis along with special tests.
Task 3 (5.5/6)You have chose the good exercises to reduce the plantar fasciitis pain, also improve muscle function. You also add the exercise for plantar fasciitis patient that is icing or rolling foot on ice ball to reduce swelling. I deduct your marks because of choosing the same disease for case study. I appreciate your efforts. Best of luck.

@ashkhan

Thank you ma'am. I will correct my mistakes.

Sorry ma'am, I couldn't analyze it properly so you couldn't understand.

It wasn't ice spinning underfoot, it was a small ball.
