RE: Silly questions are also a kind of suggestion, aren't they? / Dumme Fragen sind auch eine Art Vorschlag, oder?
I just noticed this today in other communities, too. My guess is that maybe it was related to this hivemind work(?). The posts still exist (for example, here), but the community "New" (created) feeds apparently aren't finding them in low-activity communities.

OK. I'll make a note of it and follow up in a few days.

As far as I can see, this has nothing to do with the recent changes, but rather with these.

That's one approach, thank you ;-)) As far as I understand the linked article (and I don't really understand it), is it about the HOT categorization? I would find it uncool if this resulted in display errors being implemented...

In that context, I don't think "hot" was referring to the blockchain's "Hot" feed. Hivemind is a database that sits in between the blockchain and the Steemit front end, and it's that database where I think the gap probably exists. If I understand right, "hot queries" in that post just meant that data for frequently used queries will be copied to and retrieved from a temp table in the hivemind database that's smaller and faster than the one the original table. The bigger/slower one is unchanged, but the goal is to improve performance by using the big one less frequently.
For some reason, though, the "created" feed is not retrieving the older data in communities that don't have much traffic. I assume that the change was probably unintentional, so hopefully it'll be fixed.

Oh, thanks a lot. I think I have it ;-)) Hopefully it's only temporarily...
