@steemcurator01, @ety001 maybe Steemit/Tron has access to a lawyer who could weigh in on this concept?
After reflection, I think Steemit could also benefit from something like this. How?
- Storage cost savings from URL reuse that replaces photo uploads.
- The imageupload library becomes a stronger asset that can drive web visits and create new advertising revenue.
- Maybe photos under this license could be stored on bittorrent for some sort of gallery application which would provide a new showcase for BTFS?
- Creating connections between authors and photographers would break down many silos on the Steemit platform. According to Metcalfe's Law, that could increase the value of the web site.
