how do you get to figure out people who read your articles on Steemit assuming we use the VG WORT “counters”?? Will it appear as “views” on my end, the way it is on YouTube?
The more readers you have, the more income you generate.
Assuming we use this format in the steem blockchain, don’t you think it will defeat the need for steem power… since all I’ve to do is to get people to just read my work and still earn.
Even this system would not show me WHO is reading my posts. It would be a purely numerical count, probably comparable to YouTube or other click counters.
Of course, you're right - if there were such a reach-based reward system on the blockchain, it would no longer be decentralised and would no longer be stable in its structure.
So we need something new that serves the principles of this platform both in terms of crypto strategies and the interests of the authors. I've already read a few good ideas, but their implementation seems to depend on people / interest groups who are not yet speaking out...
