I feel like I have learned more about Steem and gotten to know our incredible passionate witnesses more during this past week than I have in the previous 3 years!

Thanks, Sir Stephen! I have been caught up in all the drama here this week and have neglected making the rounds to see everyone's posts. I need to get back on my regular schedule!
Not to worry my friend and we are struggling with loadshedding (power cuts) which starts again in the morning and nobody can keep a schedule.
It is costing our country billions in losses.

nice fancy old architecture. is that real sundial.
It is an Armillary Sphere located in Troup Square. "Originally invented by the Greeks and used to track celestial orbits, armillary spheres were also used by ancient astronomers to show the recurrence of equinoxes and solstices." This statue was designed in 1968 and has zodiac signs around the sphere and is held up by six tortoises. It does function as a sundial, although I suspect with all the huge old oak trees surrounding it, it doesn't get a steady supply of sunlight!
Looks complete enough.
Wonder if it can tell the time.
