Now that I have a 50/50 chance of getting one point, I assume the odd one is Top Left (the giant apple)

Picture 1 (New York, Big Apple).
Geographically, New York City is located on the East Coast of the United States, while Seattle, Portland, and San Diego are all on the West Coast.
✅ Correct!
3 on the West Coast (also linking back to a Week 1 question of Interstate-5). Only New York isn't.
Big Apple (New York City), Sleepless in "Seattle" and Chichen Itza (Mexico) have connections with America but the lighthouse Portland Bill is in England.
👎 You're on the right track... but you need to rethink one of the images and then it might become more obvious.
I guess it is the second picture (the red lady) because the others has to do with towers.
New York with towers (1st), the lighthouse (3rd) and the Empire State Building (4th).

While the rest of the images show real world places, the top-right one focuses on a Carmen Sandiego character.

The 3rd picture with the lighthouse does not match the others.
Exclusion: The description of the picture is missing the word “big“. At least I think so… 😎Otherwise, I see “Big Apple,” a scene from the movie “Big” with Tom Hanks, and the video game “Big Red Adventure.”
