Mein Goldwaschblog- Goldwaschen an der Evelyn Quelle // My Gold Panning Blog- Gold Panning at Evelyn Spring (DEU/ENG)

Da ich ja schon oft in Bad Hofgestein war und mich dort auch mittlerweile gut auskenne, wollte ich bei meiner dies jährigen Österreich Tour auch nochmal an der Evelyn quelle nach Goldwaschen. Das Problem dort ist nur an der Stelle, wo man ohne große Problem dran kommt, ist direkt ein Goldwaschplatz, wo jemand Goldwaschkurse gibt. Und dann gehört es sich nicht, dort zu waschen.
Zu mindestens für mich und meine Begleiter nicht. Angeschaut haben wir ihn uns dann aber trotzdem nochmal.
An dem Tag war so gar richtig Betrieb dort, sodass ich sehr weit weg parken, musste, weil die Goldkursbesucher alles vollgepackt hatten. Es waren sehr viele Familien mit ihren Kindern dort. Echt sehr viele haben den Goldwaschkurs besucht. Leider durften wir keine Fotos machen, da der Betreiber das nicht wollte, um seine Bilder zu verkaufen.
Wir haben uns nur kurz mit dem Veranstalter unterhalten und uns angeschaut, wie weit ca der Bereich geht, wo die Waschkurse gibt, um im Anschluss dann auch weiter oben unser gluck zu versuchen. Wir haben dann einige Stellen getestet und sind auch in die Tiefe gegangen, um Material aus dem Fluss zu holen, doch am Ende des Tages sollte es nicht sein, dass wir heute hier Gold finden sollten. Auf dem Rückweg sind wir noch an einem anderen Goldwaschplatz vorbeigekommen, doch bedauerlicherweise war dieser geschlossen.
Nach gut 4 StD packten wir zusammen und sind den Pass noch weiter hochgefahren. Ich dachte das wir dort oben auch mal schauen können. Doch außer Naturschutzgebiete und eine alte Golderzmühle, die enttäuschenderweise auch zu hatte, konnten wir dort oben nicht viel ausrichten. Daher hab ich nur einige Bilder gemacht und wir sind wieder runter in Tal gefahren, da wir an dem Tag keine Zeit hatten, um eine lange Wanderung zu machen.

Als wir unten ankamen, beschlossen wir nochmal zu unserer bekannten Stelle zu fahren, damit der Tag nicht ganz verloren ist. Gesagt, getan.
Bedauerlicherweise war die Salzach immer noch recht hoch und wir haben einfach drauflos gebuddelt. Am frühen Abend, haben wir dann doch ein wenig erschöpft angefangen einzupacken.
Anschließend sind wir dann zur Unterkunft gefahren, da wir einen Tisch bestellt hatten im Restaurant.
Nach dem leckeren Essen sind wir auf Zimmer gegangen und haben den Restabend zusammen auf dem Balkon verbraucht bei lustigen Gesprächen über Gott und die Welt.

Since I've been to Bad Hofgestein many times and know my way around there well, I wanted to go back to the Evelyn spring for gold panning during my Austria tour this year. The problem there is only at the place where you can get without much problem, is directly a gold panning place where someone gives gold panning courses. And then it is not proper to wash there.
At least not for me and my companions. But we looked at it again anyway.
On that day it was really busy there, so I had to park very far away, because the gold course visitors had packed everything. There were very many families with their children there. Really a lot of people visited the gold panning course. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take pictures, because the operator did not want that to sell his pictures.
We only talked briefly with the organizer and looked at how far ca the area goes, where the washing courses gives, to then try our luck further up. We tested then some places and went also into the depth, in order to get material from the river, but at the end of the day it should not be that we should find gold here today. On the way back we passed another gold panning site, but unfortunately it was closed.
After 4 hours we packed up and drove up the pass. I thought that we can look up there also times. But except for nature reserves and an old Golderzmühle, which disappointingly also had to, we could not do much up there. So I only took some pictures and we drove back down into the valley, because we didn't have time to do a long hike that day.

When we got down, we decided to go back to our known spot so the day wouldn't be completely lost. No sooner said than done.
Unfortunately, the Salzach was still quite high and we just dug. In the early evening, we started to pack up a little exhausted.
Afterwards we drove to the accommodation, because we had ordered a table in the restaurant.
After the delicious meal we went to our rooms and spent the rest of the evening together on the balcony talking about God and the world.
